This year’s International Trademark Association Annual Meeting in London once again confirmed why INTA remains one of the most important global gatherings for the intellectual property community. Bringing together more than 10,000 professionals from over 140 jurisdictions, the event created a unique environment where legal developments, business strategy, technology, and international networking naturally converged.
What stood out most this year was the increasingly international and interdisciplinary nature of the discussions. Beyond trademarks and enforcement, many conversations focused on artificial intelligence, the business value of intangible assets, cross border disputes, online enforcement, and the growing interaction between IP, technology, and global commerce.
The educational sessions reflected how rapidly the profession is evolving and how brand protection today requires a much broader strategic perspective.
London’s role as a global center for commerce, finance, creativity, and innovation gave additional relevance to discussions. The city’s international energy perfectly matched the spirit of the event.
For us, INTA 2026 was not only an opportunity to discuss current developments in IP law, but also a valuable moment to exchange perspectives with professionals, clients, and institutions from around the world. The experience reinforced how global the IP industry has become and how important international cooperation continues to be in addressing the challenges facing brands and innovators today.
